Gottspeed Racing was founded in 1992 by motorsports and drag racing enthusiast, Hal Gottsacker. Hal is the owner of two Harley-Davidson dealership franchises, Javelina Harley-Davidson in Boerne and Gruene Harley-Davidson in New Braunfels, Texas.
